Sparkling Rosé from £2.79 at Aldi

Rosé weather is upon us, and what better way to enjoy it than with some fantastic options available at Aldi? Not only are these wines incredibly delicious, but they also come at unbeatable prices, all under £20. In fact, Aldi even offers a non-alcoholic option that gives Kylie Minogue's chart-topping non-alcoholic sparkling rosé a run for its money, and you won't believe how much cheaper it is!

Did you know that Aldi has been smashing it in the sparkling wine game? So hold on to your taste buds, because their English Sparkling wines have skyrocketed by a whopping 240% in the last year! And if you're a fan of the rosy-hued goodness, prepare for a mind-boggling 160% increase in sales of English Rosé. Aldi is on fire!

But wait, it gets even more exciting! Aldi's shelves are bursting with an array of dazzling options that will make French sparkling lovers, English sparkling enthusiasts, and even those seeking a non-alcoholic treat weak in the knees.

Let's start with the Zerozecco Rosé 0.0% priced at an astonishingly low £2.79. After winning the title of "Best Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine 2022," Aldi decided to introduce a rosé version to compete with Kylie Minogue's popular Sparkling Rosé. Surprisingly, Aldi's £2.79 version is a staggering 69% cheaper than the Australian singer's offering which is priced at £9.00 per bottle. This stunning rosé boasts a refreshing and fruity profile with delightful notes of red berries and a dry finish. Not only is it a complete bargain at £2.79, but it is also non-alcoholic and low in calories, making it the perfect choice to try during #DryJuly.

Next up is the Specially Selected Crémant De Bordeaux Brut Rosé, priced at £8.99. I've said it once and I'll say it again... You just can't go wrong with Crémant and Aldi's rosé Crémant is no exception. Made using the same traditional method as Champagne but in a different region of France, it delivers that Champagne-like experience without breaking the bank. This Aldi Crémant is a steal at under £10 and offers enticing aromas of crunchy red berries, accompanied by a fresh and tangy cranberry acidity that culminates in a delightful strawberry finish.

If you're up for a challenge, I invite you to find a cheaper English sparkling wine than the Specially Selected Bowler & Brolly English Sparkling Rosé Brut Reserve, priced at only £15.99. This exceptional English wine, produced in Devon, captivates the senses with its enticing notes of raspberry, complemented by delicate brioche aromas. Its lively, crisp, and fresh palate makes it a true gem. It's worth noting that Aldi has seen a tremendous surge in the popularity of its English Sparkling wines, with a remarkable 240% increase in the past 12 months, and an astounding 160% rise in sales of English Rosé specifically.

If you happen to come across any of these remarkable wines during your next trip to the Aldi wine aisle, I can't wait to hear your thoughts! Share your experiences on Instagram at @ElizabethWineGirl.
