Where to sip wine this summer in The City – check out the @chateausaintemarguerite collab at @canopybyhilton. If you’re looking for a new go-to after work or Thursday lunch spot in the sun, I’ve found a gem for you!

Canopy by Hilton has become my latest wine stop, largely thanks to a beautiful collaboration with one of my favourite rosé producers: Château Sainte-Marguerite from Provence, France.

Situated at 11 Minories, just a short walk from Liverpool Street and Leadenhall Market, step past the bright orange parasols and floral archways to find a “terrace meets summer garden” feel with luxury finishes, plush sofas and a fabulous bar. It’s stylish, relaxed, and exactly where you’ll want to spend a sunny lunchtime or drinks after work

If you haven’t tried the wines from Château Sainte-Marguerite yet, what are you waiting for!  At a recent tasting with Olivier Fayard, winemaker at the Château, I fell in love with their range of organic, vegan rosés!  They are presented in beautifully designed screen-printed bottles with floral glasses to match – so on-trend!

Fantastique is the wine to look for – and this is a wine that lives up to its name, with intense red berry fruit and ripe peach it’s elegant and expressive thanks to its coastal vineyards near St Tropez. (take me there now!)

It’s joined by the equally charming Symphonie and is served by the glass at Canopy by Hilton. Pair it with arancini balls with smoked tomato and Parmesan and pesto, chilli and garlic prawns, hummus and flatbreads and more. On Wednesday through Friday evenings, the place really gets going with live DJs.
