A passport, three floors of hospitality and a wine casino. Watson Farley & Williams had a lovely idea for introducing their global partners to the new London office.
They wanted everyone to explore the building, so guests were given a passport to collect stamps as they visited different stations, including sushi, cheese and my wine tasting table.

I was there hosting a wine casino, and we certainly had a busy table. The queue was quite something!
It was a thoughtful way to showcase the new space. With something to discover at each stop, the passport gave guests a reason to make their way around all three floors.

I’d worked with the firm before, hosting a women-in-wine tasting for a team event, so it was a pleasure to return for a different occasion.
There was a lovely personal connection, too. Lindsey Taylor, who now works in marketing at Watson Farley & Williams, was my boss at Corney & Barrow Broadgate Circle around 20 years ago. We’ve stayed good friends, and seeing her again in this setting made the evening feel particularly special.
From working together in a wine bar to bringing a wine casino into her firm’s new office, it was quite a moment.
Thank you to Lindsey, Jessica and the events team for having me. A beautiful new space and such a pleasure to help introduce it to your partners.
