But one thing never changes, my clients want something interactive, social and memorable.

That shift is exactly why I’ve just launched the new Elizabeth & Wine website, designed to show what these experiences really look like in practice.

    Explore the new website

Inside you’ll now find real case studies from my recent events, including evenings hosted for companies such as Hogan Lovells and Vodafone.

    You can see:

    • My handpicked venues
    • My ideal group sizes
    • My themes of the tasting
    • The kind of experience your guests will have ‘on the night’

From ‘Wine Safari’ networking evenings to ‘Women in Wine’ tastings and food and wine pairing events, the site hopefully gives you a clear idea of the types of experiences companies are hosting today.

If you're planning a client or team event this year, it should give you some useful ideas. And do contact me if you are planning an event, I’d love to help!

Caitlin’s wine and movie night, featuring Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre red wine

One of the questions I’m asked most often is:
“What wine should I open with dinner?”

I am a big fan of wines from Burgundy. What I love about Burgundian wines is how they suit real moments in life.

I wrote a piece for The Handbook recently where I paired wines from Burgundy with everyday situations suggested by reader:

Wine and movie night = Pinot Noir with pizza and popcorn

Indian dinner for one = a fresh white Burgundy that can handle spice

Mother and daughter supper = something elegant but relaxed

Bridesmaid dinner = celebratory, but within budgety

I also wrote a short guide for The Handbook on Burgundy wine and food pairings if you’re looking for inspiration.

If your team or clients want to explore wines like these, that’s exactly the kind of wine experience I host for companies across London.

    Pensions & Prosecco

A new project that has grown over the past year is Pensions & Prosecco, which I host with award winning financial journalist Katie Binns.

Katie explains pensions in a way that finally makes sense.
I explain wine in a way that feels accessible.

Together it creates conversations that feel far less intimidating than either topic on its own.

We’ve been hosting a series of evenings since 2025 and recently partnered with Kellands Chartered Financial Planners to bring even more expertise into the room.

If you’re curious about the idea, I’ve shared the full story of how Katie and I met and how the concept started on LinkedIn.

    Read the story here

And if the topic interests you, you can also follow the conversations through the Pensions & Prosecco newsletter.
