Majestic wine picks
Majestic appears in 23 articles of hers, from 2022 to 2026. Prices are as they were when each article was written.
In her words
The Noughty Sparkling Chardonnay (just £9.50 at Sainsbury ‘s, Waitrose, Majestic) is a crisp, joyful fizz with notes of melon and lemon.
Look at crémant (French fizz made in the same way as Champagne but from different parts of the country), and South African cap classique (Graham Beck is a good brand to look for, priced around £14 in most supermarkets and Majestic).
If you are looking for a can’t-go-wrong, ‘does what it says on the tin’ wine I have a lot of respect for the ‘Definition’ range at Majestic - great value and good quality wines in the range.
You get such great quality at £15 and my go-to Malbec is Catena Malbec, available in Waitrose and Majestic.
Our Chandon Spritz, from Argentina (Majestic £22.99) was a hit, taking us on a summer adventure.
I recommend: Wynns Coonawarra Estate Shiraz, £14.99 from Majestic or only £11.99 when you buy 6 or more bottles.
