I make Klein Constantia a winery. Region is famous for Sauvignon Blanc, originally sweet wine. A region really close to Cape Town called Constantia. Suddenly, you're in these beautiful vineyards surrounded by gorgeous wines. Now, they also make beautiful dry styles that we're used to drinking. I've got two really interesting wines in front of me, which actually blends made by the cellar master, and we are blending six different grape varieties together. This is darker in color because it's had skin contact. But why are blends really interesting? So we don't just have to have Sauvignon Blanc or Chenin Blanc. We can also have wines that are blended together to make them more interesting, developed, complex. We can age them, play with them. It makes for really interesting wines. I love blended wines.
