Happy International Chenin Blanc Day. One of my favorite grapes and favorite days of the year. I love Chenin Blanc from South Africa a lot more than the original home from the Loire Valley. I love it. It's so versatile. It can be made in so many different styles of wine. We have old vines here from 1973. Chenin Blanc can either be really fresh, crisp, and citrus, which is gorgeous, or it can be aged in oat, either a small amount or a lot. You can have such a range of flavors and development, which means that Chenin Blanc can go with a lot of food. Happy Chenin Blanc day, and I love loving you, Chenin Blanc.
