What are you drinking Christmas day? This is what I'm drinking Christmas day. It's from Mount Etna, Sicily. Where is Mount Etna? It's the island that kicks off the bottom of Italy like a football. It is the largest island in the Mediterranean, and Mount Etna is an active volcano. It's crazy. It erupts almost every year. People still live there calling it home, and the vines hang on for dear life at the foothills of this volcano. Fun fact for you, White Lotus was filmed there. Okay. So the grape is Nero Maschalese. I love this grape and you'll find it on my dinner table this Christmas. If you like earthy Pinot Noir, you're gonna love Nero masculinity. Let's try this wine. Cooked fruit, spices, really enchanting cinnamon, really grippy, firm tannins, elegant. This wine has a really beautiful color. This is a little bit deceiving. It's a little bit like a Rolo. It's quite clear and translucent, but it's really strong and firm. This is gonna be perfect with your turkey on Christmas day, or you can enjoy it with a stew. Cheers.
