My three Waitrose go to wines are one, a Verdicchio. This is lovely. It's from Italy. It's incredibly refreshing. Soon as the sun comes out, serve this really cold citrus almonds and herbs. There's my first one. Secondly, something with a little bit more body, perfect with pasta, an alternative to chardonnay. This is a white Tuscan and it comes from San Gimignano and the grape is vinaiga. This is fabulous. Serve it lovely in cold, apples, herb, citrus. Then my third one, your barbecue wine. Never know what to take to a friend's house for a barbecue. It goes really, really well with sausages. This is a Cabernet Franc, comes from the Loire region. Serve it very slightly chilled, lovely dark red berries, crisp, clean, and slightly tobacco y. Enjoy.
