Last week was one of those evenings that made me stop for a moment and think about how far Elizabeth & Wine has come.
I hosted a wine event for 100 people at Linklaters to celebrate the opening of the rooftop at their brand-new building. It was such a special occasion to be part of, and one of the biggest events I’ve delivered.

The wines were rather special too. I served Krug Grand Cuvée, 174ème édition at one of my events for the first time, alongside Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. I was very excited about that!
I had two brilliant sommeliers with me, as well as my new PA, who has been helping enormously with the planning and logistics behind the scenes. Looking around at 100 guests enjoying the evening, with that team beside me, felt like quite a moment.

You spend so much time thinking about all the details that have to come together for an event like this. When it’s happening, and you finally get a chance to take it all in, it’s a lovely feeling.
Linklaters were celebrating a milestone with their new space, a real investment in their future. And it felt like a milestone for me too. The energy was fantastic, and I came away absolutely buzzing.
Thank you to the team at Linklaters for trusting me with such an important evening.
