4 Sparkling Wines to Gift this Mother's Day

If you're looking for a bottle of wine to gift this Mother's Day, then I highly recommend these four sparkling wines from around the world which are available from your local supermarket and priced between £10-£35.

    1. Cremant de Bordeaux, M&S and Ocado - £10.50
Cremant is an amazing sparkling wine that is made in the same method as Champagne but without the price tag! This French fizz has a beautiful colour made by female winemaker Sue Daniels and only £10.50 from M&S or Ocado.

    2. Conegliano Prosecco, Sainsbury’s - £10.00 - Now £9.00

A classic Prosecco from Italy. This Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco from Sainsbury’s is a firm favourite and is only £10.00 (currently £9.00 in the sale) from Sainsbury’s with citrus, pear drops and good acidity.

    3. La Gioisa Rosé Prosecco, Waitrose - £11.99

Are you celebrating Mother’s Day with Afternoon Tea this March? Well, then I recommend the rosé route! Pick up this bottle of ‘Rosé La Gioisa’ Prosecco from Waitrose for £11.99.

    4. Nyetimber, most supermarkets - £35.00

If you’ve got a larger budget to spend on Mum this Mother’s Day then go for English Sparkling as a real treat. English sparkling wine is made in the same way as Champagne but comes from England. Nyetimber is available from most supermarkets for around £35 (currently on sale at Sainsbury's for £29.50 - Was £38.00) and makes the perfect gift - plus it is made by female winemaker Cherie Spriggs.
