In her words
During a recent visit to Exton Park Vineyard in Hampshire, I spent some time looking more closely at Pinot Meunier, one of the three classic grape varieties used in Champagne and an increasingly important part of English sparkling wine.
Pinot Meunier is a black grape variety most famous for its role in Champagne, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Today, many winemakers are giving Pinot Meunier the attention it deserves, producing both blends and single-varietal wines that showcase its charm, freshness and fruit-driven character.
Exton Park's English sparkling rosé is a delicious dry blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier with white peach and floral finish.
Other than the fact England can make amazing sparkling wine we make fantastic sparkling pinot Meunier and this has 22% which shines orange blossom.
