Semillon
Semillon appears in 3 articles of hers, from 2022 to 2026.
In her words
The wine she speaks about with the greatest emotion is Babylonstoren’s Semillon, partly because she helped create it from the beginning.
The result is a textured, layered white wine that feels like a brilliant reminder of why Semillon deserves more attention.
A classic Bordeaux-style blend, dominated by Semillon with Sauvignon Blanc.
Creation also makes a wonderful 80/20 sauvignon/semillon blend which they vinify in special cigar-shape barrels from France, which develops those lovely toasty aromas with oak contact but very gently and naturally.
