Discover our #IWD2024 event success.
March is my favourite month of the year as it's Women's History Month! I want to share with you what a couple of clients have said about my #IWD2024 events.

“Thank you so much for bringing your unique flair and incomparable knowledge of women and wine to help us celebrate #IWD2024 . We couldn't agree more with your sentiments about women leading the future of Champagne and we're all happy to make our own contribution there.”
- Jessamy Gallagher
Global Co-Chair of Corporate at Paul Hastings

London Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
“Fantastic event on a journey through wine. We celebrated incredible women winemakers and found out some fascinating facts. We were shocked to learn that wine is the number one drink of choice of women in the UK but only 17% of winemakers are women!"
- Luiza Zaharia
Account Manager at London Chamber of Commerce and Industry

WHAT'S COMING UP?
Pride Month (June):
Celebrate Pride with a varied and exciting wine tasting event featuring wines that embody the spirit of the rainbow flag. Focus on promoting LGBT+ visibility and equality in the workplace. For example, have you tried Digby Fine English, a sparkling wine from West Sussex outperforming Champagne in blind tastings, made by the married duo Jason Humphries and Trevor Clough? It’s fabulous! This event is a perfect blend of celebration, education, and advocacy.
Venue: Old Compton Street.

Black History Month (October):
Dedicate this tasting to the achievements of BAME winemakers worldwide. This is a crucial opportunity to address and discuss the underrepresentation of black individuals in the wine industry, particularly in top wine-producing countries like South Africa. Explore the narratives of winemakers of colour, their contributions, challenges, and the evolving diversity in wine-making.
It's not just a tasting event; it's a platform for important conversations and learning. South Africa produces more than 1 million litres of wine a year, but while black South Africans make up nearly 90% of the population, they remain woefully under-represented in wine industry at less than 3%.
We will hear the stories about what winemakers of colour doing to make their mark on the industry, and what the future holds.

Burgers, Barolo, and Brunello:
A casual yet sophisticated event pairing Italy's finest red wines with gourmet burgers. This experience breaks down the conventional boundaries of wine tasting, combining the richness of Barolo and Brunello wines with the comfort of high end burgers, appealing to both wine connoisseurs and casual enthusiasts alike.

Pearls of Piedmont:
Dive into the elegance of Piedmont, Italy's premier wine region. This tasting event features a selection of its finest wines, including Barolo, Gavi, and Asti, paired with exquisite pasta and truffle dishes. It's a journey through Piedmont's gastronomic and vinicultural excellence, showcasing the depth and diversity of its wine heritage.
