Celebrating International Women’s Day with EssenceMediacom at Lady of the Grapes

EssenceMediacom helps brands to break through in the new economy - and the company recently gathered an impressive group of 30 female leaders in brand, marketing and communications from organisations including Cancer Research UK (CRUK), Costa, TUI and NBCUniversal to mark International Women’s Day 2024.
It really was an evening to remember as Essencemediacom took over Lady of the Grapes - a cute French wine bar founded by Carole Bryon on Covent Garden’s Maiden Lane. 90% of the wines on offer at Lady of the Grapes are made by female winemakers.
We kicked off the evening with a sparkling wine from New Zealand called Huia Blanc du Blanc by Claire Allan. Claire was one of the women who originally inspired me to create my ‘women in wine’ theme as she was among the first women I met in the industry when I founded Elizabeth & Wine. Since then she has been super supportive and such an inspiration.
Huge thanks to another inspiring woman in business - the fabulous Claudine Collins, Chief Client Officer at EssenceMedia - for commissioning me to partner with her on this event. It was a great #IWD2024 event to work on.
