Private Networking Evening for Rostrum at Lady of the Grapes, Covent Garden

I hosted a private networking evening for Rostrum at Lady of the Grapes, and what a night it was.
Twenty-two guests, fully booked, surprising no on-the-day drop outs, and such a buzz that no one wanted to leave.
The goal was simple: bring marketing leaders from law firms together, make introductions, and let conversation flow naturally over great wine and food.
We tasted four standout wines:
- Oxney English Sparkling: crafted by the brilliant Kristen, who swapped PR for winemaking (and what a result).
- Mâcon-Igé by Domaine Leflaive: elegant and balanced.
- Garage Wine Co. Cabernet Franc from Chile: bold, expressive and full of character.
- Organic Malbec from Domaine Bousquet: smooth and generous, a perfect finish to the evening.
The setting couldn’t have been better.
Lady of the Grapes is one of those rare places that gets everything right: intimate atmosphere, outstanding food, and service that makes you feel instantly at home.
An evening that reminded me what makes a great event: connection, conversation, and a few exceptional glasses of wine shared along the way.
Huge thanks to Lady of the Grapes for their incredible hospitality, and to everyone who joined us for such a memorable night.
