Private Milestone Dinner for Hogan Lovells & Vodafone

I hosted a private milestone dinner for Hogan Lovells and Vodafone, celebrating a 10-year working partnership on a major case.
Twelve guests. Senior. Relationship-focused. No speeches. Just a table.
We chose a private room at Mount Street Restaurant, warm, art-filled, intimate without feeling closed in.
We opened with English Blanc de Blancs and a simple question:
Would you confidently order English sparkling from a wine list?
Curiosity replaced small talk almost immediately. From there: a serious white from Alto Adige, an Etna red grown on volcanic soils, and Gattinara (100% Nebbiolo): structured, age-worthy, conversation-starting wines.
But the wine wasn’t the focus. It was the catalyst.
What made the evening work was intention:
• A setting that encouraged real conversation
• A shared, intelligent focal point
• Space for the partnership itself to take centre stage
In London professional services, premium client hosting doesn’t need to be theatrical, it just needs to be thoughtful. If you’re planning a senior client dinner this year and want it to feel personal rather than performative, I’m always happy to talk.
Thank you to Hogan Lovells for trusting me with this fabulous event!
