The evening was all about raising a glass to the talented female winemakers shaping the industry, proving that their skill, passion, and innovation deserve the spotlight.
Every wine poured was readily available to buy in UK supermarkets, making it easier than ever to support women in wine with every sip.
During the tasting, we went “behind the label” to explore the stories of female winemakers and the challenges many still face when building careers in the global wine industry.
Guests were also taken on a journey into how women engage with wine, from how they buy and choose wine, to how they taste, discuss and experience it socially.
Celebrating #WomeninWine is so important as we strive to create a more inclusive and diverse wine industry where all voices and perspectives are heard equally.
Sue has been very vocal about calling out inequality in the wine world - 60% of graduates are women but only 13% of women are getting jobs in the industry.
