An Evening Where Thoughtful Food & Wine Pairings Transform the Table with Kingsley Napley

Another brilliant Elizabeth & Wine tasting - this time with Kingsley Napley, exploring how thoughtful food and wine pairings can transform a table.

We began with the cooler, more elegant cousin to Prosecco: Castelveder Franciacorta Rosé from Italy. From there, Samantha O’Keefe’s barrel-aged Sauvignon Blanc from Lismore (South Africa) brought texture and depth (a real standout).

Our journey continued through Beaujolais with Nicole Chanrion’s vibrant Côte de Brouilly 2019 before jumping across the world to Chile for Pillar and Derek Mossman Knapp’s artisanal Cabernet Franc from Garage Wine Co. Both wines are full of character, energy, and craftsmanship.

We closed on a high with G.D. Vajra’s Moscato d’Asti 2024, delicate, floral, and the perfect final note.

Even our pregnant guest joined the experience with a non-alcoholic option from Jörg Geiger and left with a new favourite: Rhubarb & Mustard.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to taste, learn, and share the evening with me. These moments of connection are why I love what I do.
